At Earthcraft, we put a strong emphasis on the planning and design phases of our projects, working closely with our clients to ensure that their vision is achieved to their satisfaction. The site is measured, elevations are recorded, and ideas are developed and discussed. Draft sketches are then prepared and the project is on its way to being a success. Earthcraft capitalizes on natural rain water and storm water management systems moving the site towards sustainability.

During the initial planning and design phase many issues can be discussed early on such as overall site planning, view enhancement, material comparisons (gravel vs. flagstone vs. concrete etc.) to help make the plan a reality. This is an important time for imagination, exploration, and creation to drive the design to be the best it can be.

The next stage consists of more detailed drafted plans in order to obtain installation estimates. Once the contractors are secured and communications are established between all parties (workers, clients, design teams, etc.) then the installation and construction can begin. The installation can be done in phases, if necessary. For example, the installation of walkways, walls, stubbing out for utilities, rain water harvesting, and drainage can be done in the first phase. The second phase can be irrigation, plant installation and lighting.

Earthcraft is on-site at all critical times. We ensure that the installation meets the desires of the client, making changes as necessary. Earthcraft stays with the project through completion and is always available for follow-up.
